Steve Hackett releases new album

Multi talented Steve Hackett is probably best known as lead guitarist with the band Genesis during the 70’s. But there’s so much more to this man who continues to work extensively across pop, blues, jazz fusion, world and classical music. His 30 year long solo career has seen him release some prolific offerings including an autobiography entitled ‘A Genesis In My Bed’. His latest album, ‘Surrender of Silence’ tells stories influenced by a recent trip to Russia and showcases musicians from all corners of the earth. I caught up with Steve whilst on tour in Wales. Check out my full length zoom interview with him here. Read More

Aussie Musician Sam Teskey Releases Solo Album Reminiscent of Pink Floyd.

One of Australia’s favourite bands is The Teskey Bros. The boys have been heavily influenced by 70’s blues and soul and seem to produce a sound together that only siblings are able to achieve. Lead guitarist, Sam Teskey has this week released his debut solo album inspired by the great psychedelic  sounds of the late 60’s and 70’s – bands like Pink Floyd. Meet Sam with me here and see what you think. Read more
